I wanted to have Zig file icons in Sublime Text, adding a Zig logo to the FileIcons package. They use automated rendering from
.svg
to 16x16.png
icons (+@2x
,@3x
) for inlining with file names, which got blurry illegible results when I tried the regular zig logo. This is an adaption of the Zig logo for pixel perfect rendering at any multiples of 16x16, making sure that the vertical and horizontal bars are pixel aligned, and opening the zlanted cuts to match. This makes a lighter version of the logo with thinner bars, and wider cuts. The aspect ratio had to change slightly to keep pixel alignment.
I did the adaption based on the logo on the zig documentation pages, not realizing the straight cuts at the ends are slanted in the current logos. The pixel perfect straight cuts gives a crisp look at 16x16, but with the widened cuts it might still work in a slanted version.
I'll await acceptance of this adaption here before submitting a PR with sublime-FileIcons.
