READ!!! 7.7.0 UPDATE

The much awaited 7.7.0 update, which will include major changes, will soon be released. Among them is the switch from UE4 to UE5, which is the game engine used by Dead by Daylight. So, no mods made prior to the switch will work. It also means that the Pak Bypass is not currently working at this time.

Gboy's DBD Pak Installer

Unfortunately, something unforeseen happened to my pc and I lost the original version in my local drive so I uploaded the updated one in a new Repository.

This is a new and improved Pak installer with added Pak bypass.

IMPORTANT

Make sure you have a click the Pak bypass button before you install mods otherwise it won't work. You can download mods here https://www.nirvanacheats.com/ and https://mercury.cranchpalace.info/mods Also turn off you're antivirus if it doesn't work as it's probably being flagged as malicious but it's just false positives # TURN OFF ANTI-VIRUS

HOW TO USE

image

  1. Download the program in the 'Releases'.

  2. Put the program inside a folder then run

  3. Select Paks folder - You need to select the Paks folder that is located in wherever you're epic games or steam dead by daylight is located. Once you've selected the path of the 'Paks' folder the path will be saved in the .txt file so that you don't have to select the Paks folder everytime you want to install mods.

  4. Select .pak/bak file - Select you're specific .pak/.bak file to install the mods you desire.

  5. Click 'Epic Games' button if you are playing dbd on epic games Click 'Steam' button if you play on steam

  6. Execute - installs the mod you selected to the Paks folder

  7. Pak Bypass - This is the program that make the mods work

  8. Uninstall - select the mod you want to uninstall in the mods list box

  9. You can now name your mod in the text box below 'Name your mod here'. make sure the name is aligned with the appropriate mod to avoid confusion.

I'll be updating this program soon when I have time so feel free to comment! :)
