I did setup WABS as per the documentation but I was getting error on getting base backup. In the Postgres log file I could see this error AttributeError: 'BlockBlobService' object has no attribute 'put_blob'

I have the same problem.

With following versions:

  • Ubuntu Server 16.04
  • PostgreSQL 10.04
  • WAL-e 1.1.0
  • Azure 3.0.0
  • Azure-Storage-Blob 1.3.1

workaround: use master branch, not pip version
