Currently, it is not possible to change the username after registering, like, for example, to correct a typo or reflect a new way to present itself, like having changed the name officially on the State records (nonbinary, transgender, remarried women), or wanting to change the order of the name and surname (Portuguese language vs English language style of referencing people).

It would be nice to be able to change it. Does not need to be allowed to change at any time and how many times the user desires. It could be limited to "once per month", "once per year", or even "one time and never again". The user just needs to be alerted, on the "change username" screen, of the conditions established for the change like "ATTENTION: you are allowed to change your username only once. There are no exceptions. Be wise(r) on your new choice."
