const default_fqdn_options = { require_tld: true, allow_underscores: false, allow_trailing_dot: false, allow_numeric_tld: false, allow_wildcard: false, ignore_max_length: false, disallow_consecutive_hyphens: true, }; function isFQDN(str, options) { assertString(str); options = merge(options, default_fqdn_options); // ... (other code remains unchanged) /* Check for consecutive hyphens in the domain part */ if (options.disallow_consecutive_hyphens && /--/.test(str)) { return false; } // ... (rest of the code remains unchanged) }
