Thank you for the powerful tensor tool! I have some basic questions about tensor decomposition.
I try to decompose a tensor into the Candecomp-Parafac form. The tensor is a product of two same tensors:
$A_{ijkl}=B_{ij}B_{kl}$
Each index ranges from 1 to 2. I try to use the tensorly.decomposition.CP to do this. However, I find out that I always get a singular matrix error when running the following codes:
As the number of nonzero elements in the input tensor is 4, rank 4 is larger than the smallest CP rank. So I think the algorithm can find at least a solution. However, it does not output any solution for now.
I wonder if it is an expected behavior for CP decomposition and what I should do if I want to decompose the tensor product into CP form with the smallest rank.
