Why to sponsor?

We all know how OSS is difficult and ungrateful many times, however we all do this because we love dev and we want to make life easier for everyone.
I believe OSS is awesome and it trully maintains the world running, just one example is sufficient for me to believe this: Linux

So, we as OSS developers are always trying to do better for everyone and keep things working and useful, but at the same time we all need money to live and this also gives motivate us to keep improving.

I do not expect to single developers to sponsor (although I would be very grateful if you do), but companies. At the end they are the ones who makes the money from all of these great open source softwares.

I really hope that your company runs good and make a lot of money if possible, however, always remember that you can support someone.
Not necessarily with big money, but one sponsorship might be enough.

This won't hurt your company budget.
