Tried @skatejs/ssr/jest as my testEnvironment in Jest 27. Get this when running tests:

Test environment found at "/Volumes/Code/clinical-frontend/node_modules/@skatejs/ssr/jest.js" does not export a "getVmContext" method, which is mandatory from Jest 27. This method is a replacement for "runScript".

Hey @bigfish, development on Skate has been dormant for awhile. If you can't work around this, I'd be happy to accept a PR and could release a new version for you. Is it possible to create your own environment extending this one?
