Change button animation back to previous state

Hi, thanks for the great animations. I am using one of yours but experiencing some difficulty. I am using the hamburger menu icon - X icon on touch and back. The challenge is I am using the Paper Button to reveal a Menu which can be tapped to another view controller. However whatever icon is showing before the viewDisappear still shows when I move back. I want to always reset it to the Hamburger icon whenever I come back. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
