I am trying to install lefthook using the pip install lefthook command. Do I need to install Go? Anyway, I decided to install Go, because it is not working without it. Then I run the lefthook command and get lefthook executable not found. If I run the 'python -m lefthook` command, the following error occurs:
# lefthook not found, trying to install
go: go.mod file not found in current directory or any parent directory.
'go get' is no longer supported outside a module.
To build and install a command, use 'go install' with a version,
like 'go install example.com/cmd@latest'
For more information, see https://golang.org/doc/go-get-install-deprecation
or run 'go help get' or 'go help install'.
# brew not found
Traceback (most recent call last):

Everything only worked when I installed lefthook using go install. Can I install lefthook locally in python virtual environment without the need to install Go? I use pre-commit and I easily can install it as a project dependency and use it in virtual environment. I'm sorry if I understand something wrong!
