Use persist with vanilla createStore

Hi all,
I'm using latest Zustand version (4.3.5) and i want to use persist middleware with vanilla createStore. When i do:

const myStore = createStore((set, get) => ({ ... }));
export const useMyState = create(persist(myStore, { ...options }));

i get the following error: config is not a function. What is the recipe to create persistent vanilla store? Thanks!

You can't apply middleware to store. middleware can only be used when creating a store.

yes, this error is only in TS if I add generics like createStore<MyType> but without it doesn't produce any error.

Oh, you forgot the syntax for TS? createStore<MyType>()(...)

I can't find in the docs that createStore<MyType>()(...) has to be done instead of createStore<MyType>(...) when working with TypeScript. I had the same problem as well when trying to follow the tip of Tkdodo here: Zustand and React Context
