How to import/use defintion from parent module?

I have added export use media * to my config where:

media\
  mod.nu
  test.nu

mod.nu:

export module test.nu

export def do_thing [path: path] {
  print $path
}

and now in test.nu I want to:

export def do_test [path: path] {
  do_thing $path
}

But I cannot figure out how to give the child module access to parent's do_thing

I'm looking for rust's use super::do_thing basically.

I am seemingly able to do

# in config.nu, parent of media.nu

export use media *
use media do_thing 

But then I have to re-export every single function, one by one, despite the *.

I just want to use a fn in potentially 2 different child modules, I don't actually need a whole specific global export.

nvm i'm just bad and it "just works" without a use statment anywhere. You can just use the fn directly in any chlid. Idk how I managed to mess that up.
