I am unable to enter my credentials, quit the program or kill the prospect-mail process.

System: Ubuntu 20.04
Release: 0.4.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Wait for timeout / logout manually
  3. Try to shutdown prospect-mail

Expected behaviour:
a) Quit does kill prospect-mail process
b) Using "X" button after logout does kill prospect-mail process
c) prospect-mail process automatically killed after logout (with a bit of delay)

Actual behaviour:
Nothing happens on the following actions:

  • Closing Window
  • "Quit" menu entry (Gnome Desktop)
  • Kill process (from console)
  • Kill process (from gnome system monitor)
    and reopening window

Workaround:
To get prospect-mail working again, sometimes shutdown desktop is working, other times a complete reboot is required.

Can you try with the latest beta version (0.5-beta1)?
sudo snap install prospect-mail --channel=beta

Also available here in other packages: https://github.com/julian-alarcon/prospect-mail/releases/tag/v0.5.0-beta1

Behaviour could be different (or maybe there were changes since then from IT side).
When I quit prospect and restart it (without option to kill process), Prospect somehow remembers my login and tries to login me again. I am able to login after manual logout, I have not checked automatic logout.
However I need to close the window (no hint somewhere that I need to do that).
