Working with tabliss has been very clean and easy to use. When I was adding links to the quick links features I found that the icons from the website might be missing, incorrect or even blurry. I feel like the best way to fix this is to allow the user to upload a custom image for the link they added in the icon section of the quick link settings.

I want to dip my toes into typescript and I also wanted to implement a similar feature. I am trying to include arcticons, which I also contribute to, as an alternative icon set since I really want an icon for mastodon.
I just add some info, if it is allowed, instead of creating new issue topic: Yes, this is got wrong icons for some resources and I not found any way to fix it for me at current time. Custom icons will be a very good thing for fixing this (as local file or direct link to image file, like domain/favicon.ico).
