i keep trying to play with my friend but i keep getting some messages

  1. "Request timeout - 0"
  2. "Timeout Client"

How do i fix this? Its been loading for 30 minutes (counted)

There were some issues with the authentication server a few days ago. Make sure that you have the latest version (1.7.1.0) and try again.

What operating system are you using, by chance?

I believe this issue happens regardless of version. Though I haven't encountered it in a while.
