Describe the issue you are experiencing

When on boarding (on a new Yellow) there is an animated background, with moving dots and lines.

This causes high CPU usage, enough to get my laptop fans running

about:processes in Firefox confirms that home-assistant is the culprit.

An efficient web interface that does not waste energy.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Follow onboarding steps
  2. View CPU usage in top
  3. View tab CPU usage in about:processes in Firefox
