Image für Raspi?

da es ja jetzt auch eine ziemlich vielversprechend aussehende GUI-Konfiguration gibt wäre es doch mittlerweile auch denkbar, EVCC als fertiges Image für Raspi auszuliefern, oder?
Damit könnte man sicher den ein oder anderen Kommandozeilenallergiker ins Boot holen.

Wäre sicher sinnvoll! Da es das noch nicht gibt habe ich für Freunde und Bekannte wenigstens eine Anleitung geschrieben wie man das macht (Linux und Windows). Da aber die GUI Eingabe noch nicht ganz komplett ist sollte man vielleicht warten bis es wirklich so weit ist. Ganz um die Kommandozeile kommt man ja noch nicht rum.

Nur es wäre sinnvoll sich auch mit der Konsole und den befehlen zu beschäftigen, sonst wird man über kurz oder lang vor einem Problem stehen und nicht mehr weiter wissen. Nur stumpf was auf eine SD Karte schieben ohne zu Wissen was man da tut geht meist nicht lange gut.

Wenn man mal alles über GUI eingeben kann braucht man die Konsole nur noch für Updates und das geht über SSH oder putty mit ein paar Zeilen Anleitung auch. Habe jetzt schon ein paar die ich zu evcc "verführt" habe die quasi Null Ahnung vom PC haben und die haben jetzt schon alle Updates gemacht. Deren größte Hürde war die Eingabe für die yaml zum Anfang. Nicht lachen, der Einbau der RP Platine ins Gehäuse war auch hoch kompliziert!
Im Idealfall kann man ja auch später Updates über GUI machen (inkl. Update von Linux).
So wie es derzeit ist aber auch schon wenn für irgend was Konsole gebraucht wird scheiden sicher 90% als potentielle Nutzer aus. Habe genug Leute in meinem Umfeld die es z.B. gerade noch schaffen über den App/Playstore was neues auf dem Handy zu installieren aber zu mehr reicht es nicht.

There can be some problems, especially in Bookworm OS version, if you use only WIFI.
wpa_supplement.conf file in the root of the sd card is not used anymore, so no wifi connection possible if you change the location, as there is no easy way to change the wifi connection.
I use Rpi Zero 2W and for the moment I only use BullEye OS.

If you use a wired connection, you can connect and use sudo nmtui to create a new wifi connection.

That's why I installed Bookworm with the user interface on an RP4. Then changing WLAN is dead easy. Remote access with ssh -X abc@efg.local and you can log in remotely into the GUI or simply connect a monitor and keyboard to it.

It is not dead easy, if you have rPi Zero, that has no internet!
If I make an image, will be with my WIFi SSID.
If you install that image on a rPi Zero, you cannot easily connect to it and in order to fix the WIFI connection problem.
You need OTG cable (has only MicroUSB), a monitor and MicroHDMI cable.

Also, that OS interface is eatig processing power.
