I try to build a esphome configuration based on github://tobias-93/esphome-ecodan-heatpump@main. However, I cannot build it since I always get the error
src/esphome/components/ecodan/ecodan.h:5:10: fatal error: esphome/components/number/number.h: No such file or directory
.number.h is a file that should be included when esphome builds, so it is strange it is not found. Other dependencies in /components work fine, and when i manually add /number/number.h, it gets removed when I build, resulting in the same error.
The yaml:

I tried different esphome versions, currently
Version: 2024.1.0-dev
on MacOS but also the addon on HomeAssistant gives exactly the same errors. The obvious tricks like reinstalling esphome, clean builds etc do not help.
Where should I look next?
