The bootstrap instructions in the README are very old and have not been tested for ages. We should consider if we should just remove them and add notes to the docs about how to run this with Docker instead maybe

I cloned a fresh project, created a Postgres database, ran through the Bootstrap instructions, verified that db-setup populated the database, and I can't get it to work. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance

@dbvrac you need to have a local Redis instance running as well

Because of this it's much easier to get the project running on docker.

If you have Docker and clone https://github.com/elastic/apm-integration-testing and run the following command you should be up and running:

./scripts/compose.py start 6.4 --with-opbeans-node
