Leak a geoparquet to fill a postgis table

Dears, I'm trying to leak a geoparquet file (hundreds of millions of polygons) into a postgis table.
Right now I use a very simple logic to read the geoparquet in chunks using limit/offset combination.
I did not run the entire procedure for the whole dataset but it seems no duplicated have been added (I ran a simple groupby query in the postgis table).
I got a few questions:

• Do i need to add an order clause to avoid importing duplicated entries (even if it seems it's useless)?
• Is there a better way than reading in chunks from the geoparquet, parsing them to geopandas, then write them out on the db?
