From experimenting, I added a couple changes to chatbot-ui and it seems to work pretty well. That project is suffering from a lack of maintenance which is a shame.

The one feature from the UI that doesn't seem to work is stopping. After that, it would be functions / plugins I would want to help you work on if that sounds good?

We do have plan to have some minimum UI for just testing models, but not as full featured as chatbot-ui. IMHO UI should be a separate component. (Sorry for the late response, on vacation now 😄)

btw, chatbot-ui should just work out of the box like you mentioned.
