Encountered a WebSocket Error: ... CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED ... #42

Error message:

11/6/23 12:57:36.645 PM AirMessage[446]: [notice] Encountered a WebSocket error: handshakeFailed(NIOSSL.BoringSSLError.sslError([Error: 268435581 error:1000007d:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED at /Users/cole/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/AirMessage-brysufrfaofvsogrzlbowzhxpxax/SourcePackages/checkouts/swift-nio-ssl/Sources/CNIOBoringSSL/ssl/handshake.cc:393]))

Even after updating system certificate roots, and the server certificate being updated, I'm still seeing this error. Is there a workaround/known solution? Should I just uninstall/reinstall?
