Describe the bug
Recently whenever I try to access the keyboard (either to search pokémons/moves, items or rename the pokémon) and hit the Enter button, I keep getting an error that reads “ [json.exception.type_error.305] can’t use operator [] with a string argument with d..scarded] “.
At first, the app worked perfectly, then after one or two uses (I didn’t make great modifications, just edited the number of Exp-Share I had in the bag and added two pokemon from the same game in the box), this error started happening, and I don’t really know what to do. I tried it also with a Pokemon Pearl new savefile just to rule out the possibility that my Heartgold savefile was corrupted but the error is still there.
It’s my first time submitting something on this site, so I’m sorry if something is not clear!! I tried to change the keyboard layout from the options as well, seeing if it had something to do with that, but the same error appears even when I click and try to edit the "D-Pad Typing directions" and "D-Pad typing groups", which is odd cause the first time it worked without problems… I also tried re-installing the .cia but the error is still there. I hope it can be solved!

To Reproduce

  1. Open the save file (Heartgold or Pearl are the ones I tested so far)
  2. Click on a pokemon in the chest/party -> EDIT
  3. Click on the name or anything that requires the text input/keyboard
  4. Write something (numbers/letters is indifferent) and then press Enter
  5. The error appears,

Huh that's weird... I'll take a look into it when I get the chance, but fyi since you're on 3DS you'd probably be better off using PKSM.

Thank you so much for your quick reply!! I’ll try doing that! It seemed odd to me cause it really worked fine at first, so this error just happened out of nowhere. Hope it can be solved, your app is amazing!
