On 3DS I'd recommend using PKSM instead of this fyi, this is targeted moreso at DS and DSi, being a DS mode app. It has support for GBA VC support.

As for gen 1/2, I'm in a similar position to PKSM I believe where I'll likely add support for them if someone else adds it to PKSM-Core, but don't currently have plans to do so. Though I haven't been actively working on pkmn-chest recently, maybe if/when I get back to it I'll feel like it.
