If I delete the Lit note, it seems I won't be able to recreate it using Zotero again.

In the Obsidian command pallet (CMD+P on Mac, I guess CTRL+P on Windows) type "Zotlit" and try the "Refresh Zotero Data", "Refresh Zotero Search Index" and "Refresh literature notes index" commands.

Thanks for the quick response. However, it is not working. I tried all mentioned above and restart the both software and computer. Current issue: 1. use "open lit note" in zotero, the obsidian will say "no note with XXX key"; 2. use "update lit note" in zotero, the obsidian will pop up, but nothing happened, stay in the original page. 3. use "create lit note" in zotero, the obsidian will pop up and stay in the original page.

The "Update literature note" from Zotero isn't working at the moment anyway. That only works from within Obsidian. But creating the note should Work. When you search for "renderColored" in the issues there seem to be some threads. If you translate this thread (#235) one solution seems to be to get rid of the colors in a Zotero note. Also here: #311
