IPS File not patching correctly #11

Following the instructions on the page, I dumped my firmware and loaded into nocashgba to ensure the base firmware works [it does]. Then I load Lunar IPS and select Apply IPS patch, first selecting the ndstvout-patch.ips then the firmware I just dumped. Afterward, I try to reload the firmware in nocashgba, and I get Undefined opcode - with no debug vector defined. If I'm doing something wrong please let me know. I'm getting a bin file titled FW696183.bin when I dump it. In the tutorial I am following, the author gets a file titled FWBAD959.BIN. Does this have anything to do with my issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

to use it in no$gba, i think you gotta rename it firmware.bin (it doesn't matter that your file isn't named the same as the one in the tutorial). Also I believe there's a tutorial on this git too, which is the one I followed so you can also look at that see if it has steps that you missed.
