I would like Amethyst to have the feature where you type in the exact amount you want on the filters, frequencies, quality factors and so on

Let's say you have an EQ which has a peak at 2843Hz at 3dB with a Q factor of 2.25. Since Amethyst has the slider, it would not be possible to make this since the slider is never going to stop at 2843Hz and it is never going to be accurate

yeah for clarification I want the gain to be -3dB but it never gets to that value

In addition, the Q factor has no value between 0 and 1 and -1 and 0

you can't have negative Q values, but i patched it to go down to 0.01 now
