Error solving the challenge. SteamDB #1026
Comments
Odd, I'm not getting a challenge in browser or FlareSolverr for that URL. Please provide a debug log of the issue: |
|
The full log please, not just a snippet from the end. |
The logs are spammed the same way, only the number of attempts changes. |
Please provide them anyway. |
|
If your system language isn't English, try using the Failing that, you could try using a proxy or VPN to change the country you're connecting from. |
LANG ENV didn't fix the error |
|
I tried to use VPN server where flaresolverr is installed on my PC and open the site through my browser, cloudflare protection came out, I clicked on the "I am not a robot" button and everything was successful. |
K, and what about using FlareSolverr with the VPN? |
I also tried running the Windows version of flaresolverr on my local PC and it doesn't work either. |
With a VPN? |
No, but I haven't used flaresolverr before on Windows, the VDS and my PC are in different countries. |
I could see a datacentre IP address being flagged for additional security, but I don't understand why your residential IP address would be. I can recreate this in browser when using a VPN, but not with FlareSolverr (with or without a VPN), and I have no idea why. I notice that in browser SteamDB are using a custom Cloudflare page, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work with FlareSolverr. |
Reverting to 3.3.9 fixed the issue for me. |
Which of these work for you (if you haven't tried them, please do so):
Also, how are you building using v3.3.9 code? |
The way I build the image:
I tried |
To be clear, if you pull our v3.3.9 and v3.3.12 images, are they not working for you? Only v3.3.9 works for you when built yourself? Did you test v3.3.10 and v3.3.11? The only changes to the Dockerfile in the last 6 months have been to comments, so I don't see why it would be broken in v3.3.8. |
I think in 3.3.11 some dependencies were upgraded. It seems some changes introduced make FlareSolverr detectable. Reverting back to 3.3.9 solves the issue. |
I didn't try prebuild images because my deployment system is rate limited by docker registry frequently and I stop bothering with them. Perhaps the problem is not in the Dockerfile at all. I didn't try 3.3.10 and 3.3.11 , neither by building the image myself nor pulling prebuilt images. Apologize for the earlier confusion, the build failure of docker isn't related to the Dockerfile, instead it is in: |
Please try the prebuilt images, because if it turns out all it takes is a rebuild of the images, that would save a lot of effort. Also try the other versions so I can pin point the specific cause of the issue. |
I think it is related with upgrading to UC 3.5.4 & Selenium 4.15.2 . |
I've built 3.3.9 , 3.3.10, 3.3.11 and 3.3.12 from source then deployed them all at once, requests will be distributed to them in round robin mode, I'll captcha debug logs and see how it goes. Since they are in same pod the out going IP should be same in most cases. |
Also, after clicking the checkbox, he thinks and reloads the page, but does not let it go further. Through a regular browser, not selenium, everything works as it should. |
If you revert to undetected_chromium 3.5.3 and Selenium 4.11.2, does the non-loading issue continue? |
Now the page is fully loaded from 1 time with a cloudflare check, but when you check that you are not a robot, the page reloads and you find yourself on the same page with a robot check. |
Ok, not sure what's causing the issue then, and the other responder either weirdly deleted their account or were suspended/banned for some reason, so they can't help us either. I'll leave it open for someone else to take a look at. |
FlareSolverr has been rebuilt in v3.3.13 (for an unrelated issue), so you can see if that resolves the problem. |
I have the same task. I tried to change to version 3.3.9 and build it localy. It doesn't matter, not work :( How can I help you to fix it? P.S.
|
Does not work on v3.3.13 |
I noticed that on https://www.browserscan.net/en/bot-detection CDP test does not pass through undetected_chromedriver, but through a normal browser it passes. I assume this is the problem, but I don't know how to fix it. |
