When editing a post previously made with IceCubes, an invisible space character is converted into the string

When editing this post, the "Edit" window has converted the space next to "Portland," into " "…
I'm not sure how the non-breaking space got in there in the first place? It's possible I meant to type an em-dash with option-dash, but maybe left the option key down when hitting the space bar afterwards?
Regardless of how it got in there, the non-breaking space should probably not be converted into a text entity on edit.
