So, I just spoke to Taylor, who runs that PXO site
He said that D3's PXO code was moved to legacy, so it would have to be re-integrated. He spotted only a few issues that would need to be fixed on top of that, and that "It's definitely doable on our end." Up to this source release, he has been trying to maintain D3 retail compatibility.
Folks from FreeSpace 2 Open have been able to get the multiplayer up using https://pxo.nottheeye.com/
Is it possible to integrate this to enable PXO multiplayer on D3 too?
