Base Console:
Japanese DSi

TWiLight Menu++ Version:
V27.2.0
TWiLight Menu++ Theme:

Expected behavior

The sound used to work perfectly before updating TWLMenu.

Actual behavior

I get loud random sound corruption during gameplay, no matter the game (tested with DS games and GBARunner2).

Steps to reproduce

  1. I just updated the DSi that was running on a quite old TWLMenu, the glitch started right after the update. I can't remember the exact version before update but I think it was something like v24.x.x.

Notes

I did a clean reinstallation of TWLMenu on a new SD card, made sure I am using the files for the DSi, and reset everything to default, but the glitch is still present.
Changing settings like sound frequency or CPU speed/mode doesn't seem to change the glitch behavior either.

Which TWLMenu++ and nds-bootstrap versions we're you using prior to updating? Because I'm not getting any sound issues on my side.
For GBARunner2, it is expected for sound issues to occur, as the sound emulation isn't perfect. GBARunner3 will improve on the sound emulation.

Thanks for the reply!
I'm not 100% but I think it was a v24 for TWLMenu, no idea for nds-bootstrap.
Yeah I expect GBARunner2 to have glitches, but I noticed the glitch on DS games first, and it's with all the games I tried, but since it seems completely random I didn't manage to capture it.
