SVG is a good idea, though it would necessitate a rewrite.

The logic is fairly hard-coded toward potions, but the bit that generates the contour and the outline could be recycled for other horizontally-symmetric, curvy things. Vases? Columns? Abstract statues? Alcohol bottles/drinks?
