Changing the tray icon to fit the plain white Windows style is a must for me, I'm tinkering with Visual Studio and i managed to get a clean look with these if you like them

No plans currently to change the tray icon, sorry.

I did not mean change, i meant an option for minimalistic icons, given that the current one looks from the 2000s

I really hate whatever I did to cause this 'Pause' icon to appear -- because I don't use anything on a day-to-day-basis that makes it pause!

That's probably due to either the GPU monitoring feature or having the system idle checking mechanism enabled.
This should not result in a pause icon because ADM is not paused per-se, you are correct.

Should be fixed on beta now.

@TheConfax Sorry to bother you on this old thread, but I was curious if you (or someone else) could tell me how to change the system tray icon manually please? Thanks !

(if someone think it's better to create a new issue tell me)

@mximbssrtedu you have to rebuild the project changing adm_tray_new.ico adm_tray_new_disabled.ico and adm_tray_new_paused.ico with icons of your choice

I used the icons above, full moon for on and empty moon for off/paused.

I'm just curious: why not simply hide it?
