Installing newer version of Python (at different location) broke my A1111 install. Help? #15778
-
Hi. I had the latest version of A1111 running fine, but recently I uninstalled Python 3.10 in my appdata/local/programs folder and installed Python 3.12 at a different location which is much more general: C;\Python312. This was suggested to me by following a guide for a different program. Anyway, this understandably broke my A1111 installation. When I try to run it I get: No Python at "C:\Users\ [Username]\Appdata\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\python.exe. Press any key to continue... So what's the easiest solution here? Can I "point"/update my current A1111 install to where python is located now or do I need to completely re-install? A1111 should still run with Python at "C:\Python312" right? Thanks. |

Reinstall 3.10. Multiple python versions can be installed at once. |
